Two posts today
Yesterday I totally forgot about the blog, though I had a selfie portrait ready. So here it is and of course also the photo I used. See you later today for today's portrait! As you can see it's not very inspiring this photo, but it's what I make of it that counts for me and I must say, I have a good feeling about the result. Good morning
I started from my bed today. I kind of planned it. My last thoughts before I fell asleep yesterday were that I wanted to have a hand on my face and make the photo of today while I was still in bed. And so I did. I loved playing with the colors and digital (Photoshop) layers with styles, different opacities, blends etc. Here's the (terrible) photo I used. No further comment. Bad hair day
Bad hair day. Yesterday I went to Rataplan, the second hand shop in Heerhugowaard where I live, to see if there was anything for me to wear on a selfie eventually. I went there with Carolijn and her son. We had a blast. When I had to make a selfie today I found myself in terrible shape. Day 4 of Project Selfie
Since I always loved comic books when I was young, I have a weekness for those text balloons. Awesome too if you ask me, when you're digiscapping. I made a set of text balloons in the Sk8r Girl collection and this is an occasion when it comes in handy. Day 3 of the Selfie Project
Today I made the decission to paint. I first made a setup in pancil on paper and after that I painted with aquarel mainly and also with some acrylic. Because I wore such a stupid boring black sweater, I readid it. That's one of the benefits of painting: you can change anything you did like in the selfie. I also did a little trick that made it more interesting for myself: I mirrored the photo and made a painting of the mirrored photo. Just to have the feeling that it's more me

Project Selfie
Why is it that sometimes I'm afraid to be seen online without make-up? Without being properly styled? Without even having combed my hair? What is wrong with me? Selfie project
Some things in life take a lot of courage. What other people see as a piece of cake, can be an absolute struggle for you.
