English - Hi, my name is Berna Datema, I am an artist. I illustrate and write children's picture books, I illustrate postcards, portraits, I make editorial illustrations for magazines and more. And I am a designer of surface patterns and prints for everything that can use a fun and colourful print, like textiles, fashion, interior items, stationary, etc.

Nederlands - Hallo, mijn naam is Berna Datema en ik maak artwork. Ik illustreer m.n. kinderboeken - prentenboeken - die ik vaak ook zelf schrijf. ook illustreer ik kaarten, portretten en maak ik illustraties voor bv. tijdschriften. Ik ontwerp dessins en prints voor alles wat uitnodigt er iets kleurrijks op te drukken zoals textiel, mode, interieur en allerlei stationary.
